The TT-800 is the culmination of our 50 years of bass amplifier design, presented in a two-channel, tube preamp format to bring bass players Mesa's two most revered signature bass sounds. Channel One brings the legendary tube-tone from their world-famous 400+ into the modern realm of compact size, lightweight and affordability, while Channel Two expands upon their current classic, the Subway preamp - Both Channels featur "Tri-Tube Topology" comprised of a trio of 12AT7s, thus the name. All of this tube-tone glory and goodness is then fed into their powerful and accurate 800-watt, Class D power amp, making the TT-800 the most expressive and versatile Subway to date.

Now, in celebration of 50 years of building custom amplifiers, they’re revisiting Randall Smith’s legendary Bass 400 preamp, combining it with their popular Subway preamp and Class D power to create an exciting 2-Channel model containing their Greatest Hits, past and present.
