Hassle-Free Return Policy

Online Sales:

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.  If you are not 100% satisfied with an item purchased from us, you may return it for a refund of the purchase price or a merchandise credit within 30 days of the shipping date (see exemptions below). If your purchase was eligible for free shipping, the shipping cost to you will be deducted from your credit or refund.

There are no refunds on any items that have been tampered with or have signs of wear or use. Shipping and insurance costs are non-refundable. Returns must be complete with original packaging, including all accessories and documentation such as owner's manual, warranty card, software, quick start guides, power supplies, cables, tools, etc.

How To Make A Return:

Please email customerservice@motorcityguitar.com to arrange for an RA (Return Authorization) number, which you should write on the shipping label (not on the box, please).

Please use the following return shipping guidelines to prevent a restocking fee:

•     Item must be in original, like-new condition
•     Item must be in the complete original packaging
•     All accessories that were originally included must be returned
•     All literature that was originally included — manuals, warranty card, etc. — must be returned in new condition
•     Double-box the product before shipping
•     Use standard packing tape (no duct tape)
•     Do not write on the original box
•     Item must include a return authorization (RA) number
•     Affix shipping label with RA number

In-Store Sales:

We want you to be completely happy with your purchase.  If you are not 100% satisfied with an item purchased from us, you may return it for a full refund of the purchase price within 10 days of the purchase date, or for a merchandise credit within 30 days of purchase date (see exemptions below).  All returns must be accompanied by the original dated store sales receipt.

There are no refunds on any items that have been tampered with or have signs of wear or use.  Returns must be complete with original packaging, including all accessories and documentation such as owner's manual, warranty card, software, quick start guides, power supplies, cables, tools, etc.

Layaways and Special Orders:

Layaways cancelled within 30 days of the original layaway date are eligible for a full refund of applicable deposits.  Deposits from layaways cancelled after 30 days will be refunded in the form of a store credit.  Special orders are noncancellable and deposits made on special order items are non-refundable.

Returns involving Trade-ins:

For purchases that involved a trade-in, the trade-in value will be returned in the form of a store credit, or in some instances the trade-in item(s) will be returned to the customer, if still available.

Non-returnable Items:

The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds:

•     Special orders
•     Oversized or overweight items
•     Amplifier Tubes
•     Consignment items
•     Earphones
•     Harmonicas & Kazoos
•     Items without the original packaging, paperwork or accessories
