To celebrate 50 years of Rush as a band, they’re proud to release the R50 CHI Combo amp — a strictly limited run of just 50 amps worldwide, available exclusively at the Lerxst Reverb Store (and here at Motor City Guitar!).

The R50 Limited Edition CHI combo is dressed in a striking black and gold enclosure and includes a Mojotone Greyhound 12” speaker.

When a last minute show pops up, the CHI combo is Alex's go-to amp. The CHI is the perfect Tone-to-Go package. With the spirit of one of rock's greatest guitarists at its core, the CHI will inspire you to explore, innovate and craft your signature sound.

The CHI amplifier was meticulously crafted as an effortlessly portable amplifier. While its roots are firmly planted in British amp tones, it also incorporates contemporary circuitry with footswitchable clean and lead channels. The amplifier generates 30 watts through the two 6L6EH output tubes and three 12AX7s in the preamp and phase-inverter stages.

While diehard Rush enthusiasts will find it easy to dial in several Lifeson signature tones, including “Limelight,” “Fly by Night,” and “Working Man,” the CHI combo amplifier offers ample satisfaction to guitarists beyond the Canadian prog-rock enthusiast community.
