You could call this another tubescreamer style hybrid. But you could also call it Pure Carnage.

Airis has added a dedicated extra gain stage to this pedal so that it's truly the loudest it could possibly be without decimating the input of your amp in a negative way. You will never at any point say "I wish this was just a little bit louder"

The Smash control also adds a bit of gain so at full settings it's the most brutal and vicious it could be. The Stab control not only adds in a truckload of bite and attack, but it also tightens as you increase it. Don't be fooled though, it's brighter and tighter than almost anything ever offered at Airis Effects.

The main goal with this pedal was to give players the absolute maximum amount of versatility in as few controls as possible. This gives you ALL great tones and zero bad tones with no effort at all to dial them in.

Smash: While typically you would find a straightforward Volume on Airis pedals, this one is a bit different. In addition to the massive amount of output potential this pedal has, as you turn up the Smash control, it actually also increases the gain in the circuit. Even at max, this is only a small amount though as the Carnage is meant to be a high output, low gain drive/boost pedal.

Stab: You can't cut through a mix without a little stabbing! The Stab control simultaneously adjusts the treble boost and bass cut. Lower settings will be thicker and warmer sounding, while higher settings are as sharp as a finely honed blade.

Power: The Carnage Drive can be run anywhere from 9-18volts.
