Welcome to Motor City Guitar!
The EVH Eddie Van Halen Striped Series Shapes Electric Guitar in Black and White is all about classic Eddie attitude, fast playability, and the kind of rock tone that cuts through a mix. Inspired by one of the guitars Eddie played during the 1981 Fair Warning tour, this model brings that unmistakable striped look together with player-focused features built for hard rock, classic metal, and high-energy lead playing.
The mahogany body gives you a warm, focused sound with plenty of sustain, while the direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang humbucker delivers aggressive output without losing clarity. Whether you're digging into chunky power chords, ripping through lead runs, or adding harmonics and vibrato, this guitar is built to feel right at home in your hands.
The quartersawn maple neck has graphite reinforcement for added stability, an oiled finish, and Eddie's Modified "C" profile. The 12"-16" compound-radius maple fingerboard feels comfortable for rhythm playing down low and flattens out toward the upper frets for bends, fast runs, and lead work. Jumbo frets give you room to dig in, while the 25.5" scale keeps the feel familiar for players who like a responsive, snappy attack.
One of the coolest features is the EVH D-Tuna paired with the Floyd Rose locking tremolo. Drop into Drop D tuning with the flick of the D-Tuna, then get back to standard tuning just as quickly. Add the double-locking tremolo for dive bombs, flutters, and expressive vibrato while keeping tuning stability in check.
An EVH Striped Series gig bag is included.
