NGR-1 is a noise/reduction pedal with the ability of storing up to sixteen presets, but keeping the audio signal in the analog domain. If you always associated noise gating to a nightmare but you still want to delete unwanted noise in your rig, this will be pedal that will change your mind.

Noise gate and reduction pedals in guitar world have always been controversial. Some models don’t provide enough reduction, while others compromise your tone.

RedSeven has developed the first in a long series of fully analog, digitally controlled pedals. What does that mean exactly? It means your signal never goes through an AD/DA conversion stage, ensuring zero tone loss.

Additionally, you can now save and recall multiple settings via MIDI, giving you the ability to control the pedal remotely while remaining in the analog domain.

Lastly, their gate/reduction system uses a high-voltage (30VDC) VCA chip, powered from a 9V source, the same technology found in many studio-grade rack compression and gate units. The result? Superior sound quality and nearly infinite headroom.
