The sound is described by Wren and Cuff as "boxey" with overdrivey compression on the lows, rich upper-harmonics in the highs, and a less pronounced scoop in the midrange. The Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian Fuzz also has a bit less gainy/fuzzy tone overall for a unique muff variant that definitely sets its own standard.
