ESP's LTD EC-1000 VB is a left-handed electric guitar featuring a mahogany body and single-cutaway design, in a stylish vintage black finish. Its set-in 24.75" scale mahogany neck is fitted with a ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets. The strings are secured by a set of LTD locking tuners, along with a TonePros locking tune-o-matic bridge and stop tailpiece.

For electronics, this guitar is outfitted with a pair of EMG humbucking pickups: The 60 neck pickup—offering rich, sustaining overtones and a thick midrange section—and the 81 bridge pickup, which provides the blistering trebles necessary to cut through a loud wall of sound during solos and lead breaks. A three-way pickup selector switch, independent volume knobs, and a shared tone knob give you full control over the electronics' various timbres.
