The EP-Booster is a discrete FET preamp with low impedance output providing up to +20db of unadulterated boost that’s multi-dimensional with shimmering highs and lows. The (new) internal DIP switches let you choose the boost level and EQ setting. The EP-Booster can be powered by 9-volt up to 18-volts for desired headroom.

They've used the highest quality parts available with a discrete FET design and low impedance output, the EP Booster provides up to +20dB of unadulterated boost with multi-dimensional, shimmering highs and lows, and no ear fatigue. The internal DIP switches let you choose the boost frequencies, and EQ settings.

Housed in a small 3.5"x 1.5" x 1.5" case with blue LED and transparent knob, the EP Booster can be powered by 9-volt up to 18-volts.

The Xotic EP Booster pedal has been one of Xotic's best selling pedals to date. Xotic hears back from customers how much everyone likes it. However, they have also heard with the gain knob turned all the way down, in some situations there is too much boost. As of July 2011, beginning from serial number 11012, they've updated the EP Booster with an internal dip switch where users can choose to have true unity gain with the knob turned all the way off. Please note, this update will not be available to EP's prior to serial numbers 11012.
