Whether onstage, in the studio, or anyplace else—Helix Floor delivers outstanding performance.

Helix Floor leverages dual-SHARC processing and HX Modeling to deliver the authentic sound and feel of analog amps and effects, and its player-friendly interface sets the standard for ease of use. Features include a large color LCD, capacitive-touch footswitches, customizable scribble strips, extensive analog and digital I/O, and an onboard expression pedal.


HX CABS/IMPULSE RESPONSES

Helix cabinet models offer a choice of 12 microphone types that may be positioned at various distances from the speaker cone and cabinet for additional flexibility. Third-party impulse responses may also be loaded.

The Helix unit provides everything BUT the amp and speakers. But it's designed so that it performs the same way in a recording scenario as it does in a live scenario. The Helix contains all of the various effect, amp models, cabinet models, microphone models (for mic'ing the amp) and so forth. It is, in effect, a modeled studio environment for constructing the signal chain that can be fed either into a DAW for recording, or directly into a PA. Either way it provides a finished production sound.


RUN EXTERNAL HARDWARE AND EFFECTS

The Helix Floor processor can also integrate external hardware devices, becoming the master controller for your entire rig, and third-party impulse responses (IRs) can be loaded to further personalize your sound. Plus, Helix Floor presets are compatible with all other Helix family devices--including the Helix Native plugin.
